Overcome life's challenges
To me never giving up is overcoming what life throws at you, how big or small the challenge you need to face it head-on. I agree with the phrase never give up because it seems to be a phrase that is overlooked or you don't really think about the deeper meaning of it. But when you think about never giving up it means that even in the hardest times of your life you need to continue.
A situation in my life when I didn't give up was about a year ago when I first started playing softball. it was very difficult for me because all the other girls had started years before I did and it was the first time that I ever played. All the other girls were so much better than me, it was hard not to compare myself or feel less than them. I didn't want to view starting later as a disadvantage so I practiced every day until I got the hang of it, to be as good as the other girls I had to work twice as hard. There were so many days that I wanted to give up, but I had to face all the challenges. This experience taught me about needing to put effort into everything you do so that you can succeed.
In the story the scholarship jacket by Marta Salinas she worked for 8 years to get a scholarship jacket, it means that she got really good grades and she was the top of her class. She never gave up and always tried her best in school, even after they told her that she would need to pay for the jacket. she didn't want all her hard work to go to waste so she asked her grandpa about the money.
I agree with the phrase never give up because it tells you that you should always try your best no matter how challenging things get. But also never give up is telling you to reach for your dreams even if it seems unreachable.
